Serving Canton, Dedham, Foxborough, Norwood, & Westwood

At the Neponset Valley TMA, we develop and manage commuting solutions for members in the towns of Canton, Dedham, Foxborough, Norwood, and Westwood.

The main goal of the Neponset Valley TMA is to reduce the number of cars on the road to alleviate traffic congestion and improve air quality. The TMA works closely with its members to achieve these goals by creating a community-consciousness regarding traffic, transportation and related matters. In addition, the TMA represents the transportation needs of its members at both a local and state level. They work with the local communities in the transportation planning process and act as a voice for the businesses on transportation-related issues at public forums.

To give more choices to commuters, the TMA offers the following programs to its members:

  • On-line ridematching to form carpools and vanpools: With our web-based ridematching database, employees who want to rideshare can find the most logical matches using a variety of criteria. Our regional database increases the possibility that of finding highly qualified matches to form carpools and vanpools.
  • Emergency Ride Home program: Often referred to as the “ridesharer’s insurance policy,” this program ensures that no one who uses an alternative to driving alone to work will be left stranded in the event that they have an emergency during the day. These rides are provided by taxi or rental car and at no cost to the employee.
  • Shuttle Services:

RaiLink Shuttle: Connects Computershare and Reebok employees on Royall Street in Canton to the Route 128 Commuter Rail Station, Mattapan Station, Ashmont Station and the Quincy Adams Red Line Station.
Reebok Express:  Connects Reebok employees directly to the 128 Commuter Rail.

University Ave Shuttle: Connects employees of Eversource, tenants of 690 Canton St, and tenants of 101 Station Drive to the 128 Commuter Rail Station - and includes a lunch shuttle to the Shoppes at University Station.
Dedham Local Bus: Public shuttle service for the Town of Dedham.

  • Promotional events: The TMA can organize on-site events to promote its programs to your employees.

MA ECO Awards

The 2016 Massachusetts ECO Awards
Will be held on Tuesday, March 22nd at Fenway Park!
(Enter at 20 Yawkey Way)

The 6th annual Excellence in Commuter Options (ECO) Awards are brought to you by MassCommute, the Massachusetts Coalition of Transportation Management Associations, the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT), and MassRIDES, the statewide travel options program.

The ECO Awards are a celebration of Massachusetts employers and their efforts to reduce congestion and greenhouse gas emissions- while also improving workforce satisfaction and quality of life for employees- by encouraging employees to utilize sustainable transportation options. By making the choice to travel to work by public transit, bicycling, walking or ridesharing (carpools and vanpools) an easy one for commuters, it is employers like you who make all the difference.

Once again we look forward to celebrating the accomplishments of members (like you) at Fenway this March!
